Communication
Generally, when you book a room at a known hotel group, you know what to
expect. However even if you have two guest houses next to each other on the
same road, they may be worlds apart as they have: different owners; different
decoration; different ambience, etc. At Magus we believe that all these factors
add to the quality of your stay. We aim to provide you with a platform which
enables constant communication between you and the guest house owner right up
to the time you decide to book.

Security
The accommodation industry is notorious for its inability to easily collect
deposits and payments before the guest has arrived. Setting up an online
payment facility is expensive and many independent establishments do not have
the resources to do it. The Magus Platform uses a technology called booksureTM
which has been built with a focus on security. This means that the guesthouse
can use these payment facilities at an affordable rate and you, the guest, can
feel comfortable and secure to use our system when paying for your
accommodation.

Partnership
Magus would like to partner with the guesthouses by charging commissions far
lower than industry standard. This makes our services accessible to everyone,
which will allow even the smaller guesthouse to provide a more professional
service. This also means that the guesthouse owners can offer lower rates as
they do not have to build in exorbitant commission structures into their rates.
