The Thulani River Lodge is surrounded by 8000 m² of beautiful garden, through which a small romantic stream stretches. The centrally located guesthouse impresses with its thatched roof, its modern African ambience and its superb outdoor swimming pool made of natural rocks.
The house offers several luxurious en suite bedrooms and spacious self-catering apartments. Our dreamlike Honeymoon Suite has a spectacular panorama view over the gardens and is the place to be for honeymooners and all those who are in love. Stylish lounges and a cosy fireplace are the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day while watching the beautiful sunset. Our exquisite breakfast buffet - which you can enjoy on the large terrace by the pool or in the cosy dining room - leaves nothing to be desired. Of course, we provide safe parking on the premises.
Thulani River Lodge is built in harmony with nature with purely natural materials, such as Balauwoods, slate floors and a thatched roof. The accommodation consists of spacious and elegant en suite bedrooms and suites, each with full modern facilities. The bathrooms are spacious and luxuriously equipped. Each room is held in a modern African style and has its own balcony with a spectacular panorama view.

A romantic Honeymoon Suite is also available. It is next to the outdoor swimming pool and offers a beautiful bedroom with an adjacent dressing room. Its luxury bathroom commands a shower and a bath with a view of the 12 Apostle Mountains, which cannot be outbidden with romanticismm

The comfortable and stylish self-catering cottage command a bathroom and a fully equipped modern kitchen.

Thulani Guesthouse is situated at the beginning and the end of the Garden Route, yet it is also perfectly suitable for honeymooners and long-term vacationists. The Guesthouse offers perfectly relaxating holidays only 20 minutes from the airport and only 15 minutes from Cape Town centre (visit us on Google Earth).
There are many places to visit during your stay. The picturesque Hout Bay, for example, which you can reach in only five minutes, has much to offer: a small marina, lovely restaurants, African markets, to mention only a few. You can book all excursions at the guesthouse. We will be happy to help.
In the immediate vicinity of the guesthouse there are several golf courses, beaches, the fantastic "World of Birds", the Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens and many more attractions. The Constantia district with its picturesque vineyards is the perfect destination for day trippers.
