Positioned in a leafy garden, the cottage offers peaceful, convenient and comfortable accommodation for the business and leisure traveller. The cottage is separate from the main house and has its own entrance and automated gate, with secure off-street parking. Our guests' comforts are of utmost importance and are seen to with heaters in winter and cooling in summer. The setting is cosy, tranquil and secure. Braai facilities can be arranged.
An open plan area consists of a sitting area and bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Facilities include hair-dryer, TV and tea tray. The lodge offers the facility of self catering or bed and breakfast. A sun-drenched courtyard is perfect for breakfasts or sundowners. Generous breakfasts include home-made treats and preserves. A sleeper couch is ideal for children.
Acacia Cottage is conveniently situated, 10 minutes from the Waterfront, city or Cape Town International Airport. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is just 15 minutes away. 30 minutes drive will take you into the heart of the Winelands. Most major business areas are 10 minutes away. We are 2 minutes drive from the N2 and 5 minutes off the N1 - our national roads.
Mowbray Golf Course, one of Cape Town's premier golf courses is 1 minute away. Rondebosch Golf Course is a 5 minute drive. Restaurants are in abundance. One of South Africa's top 10 restaurants is within walking distance.
Owners, Chris and Diane, are able to advise on day excursions, wine routes, golf courses and many other nearby attractions.
