Cedar Place is centrally located in Plantation, Boksburg. It is approximately 7km from OR Tambo International Airport, and less that 5km from the N12 and N17 highways. For shopping, the East Rand Mall and various supermarkets are only a short distance away. It is about 20km from the Johannesburg CBD and 25Km from Sandton. The suburb is a quiet haven and is true to its name, because there are many established trees and subsequent bird life. This suburb is also the oldest in Boksburg, and boasts a national monument namely “40 Pillars”. Most houses in the area date back to the early 1900s. Sir Herbert Baker was the architect of two of these houses.

The Boksburg Technical College, Boksburg library and the Tambo Memorial hospital are within walking distance from the guesthouse. Cedar Place currently have 3 rooms and one self catering apartment.

The guesthouse will be intended for 9 rooms that can accommodate 2 people per room. The maximum occupation rate will therefore be 18 people per night.

Each room will be equipped with a TV (DSTV included), a stocked bar fridge and an on suite bathroom. A formal lounge with a fireplace is available to guests for relaxation.

There will be office facilities available, with fax, copy and Internet. The property has electric fencing ensuring secure parking, behind an electronic gate. Laundry service can be provided on the premises.
