We know Cape Town very well and South Africa well.
Backpacking is our hobby and passion.

The Green Elephant is situated in the lively student area of Observatory. Close to pubs and restaurants, public transport, shops, movies, University of Cape Town (UCT), Groote Schuur Hospital, sportsgrounds and theatres it is well placed for a base in Cape Town while you enjoy the benefits the Cape has to offer. Being in a student area, the pubs are full of young people and prices are low . We are Not in the centre of the city!

Because we understand travelling alone and on a budget, we continuously look for the best options for you in Cape Town. There is no compromise on quality. We are here to enjoy ourselves too, so join us when we go parachuting, sailing, hiking or just out partying!

Take N2 from the Airport, take Mowbray turnoff, turn right into Main road. Follow Main Road for 2 km and turn right into Milton Road. It is a one way street and The Green Elephant is on the right hand side.
