The standard city tour of Pretoria includes visits to the Voortrekker Monument, Church Square, Kruger/Melrose House and the Union Buildings. In October, the Jacaranda trees bloom, turning the city into a lilac fairyland.

For tourists based in Pretoria, there is a choice between the Rhino & Lion Park, and the Pilanesberg National Park, which is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:Take the R21 towards Pretoria Direction – North.After travelling about 40 km, approaching Pretoria at the Fountains Circle, you should have crossed two traffic lights on the highway. Upon entering the circle, cross over a third traffi c light. Keep in the right hand lane.
