Malaika Lodge
8 Karakal Road, Hout Bay, 7806
Description
Malaika Lodge is a charming garden setting lodge that features newly furbished quality suites and cottages with stunning big bathrooms, affordable rates and a friendly atmosphere.
The beautiful view on the Cape Town mountains makes Malaika Lodge the perfect venue to simply relax with a drink on the upper terrace or at the full-size saltwater pool at the lower level of the lodge. Rests assure that you will feel pampered during and rejuvenated after your stay at our comfortable lodge.
Malaika Lodge offers you a wide variety of luxury and entertainment, both inside and outside the lodge. Whether you are looking for adventure or just want to enjoy a peaceful stay, we have the perfect venue for your desires and comfort.
Malaika lodge is situated in Hout Bay, a part of the greater Cape Town metro pole, and is only a couple of minutes drive away from Hout Bay beach and Llandudno beach, by far one of the most beautiful beaches in the Western Cape. The cozy bars, quality restaurants, charming curio shops and of course the picturesque harbor makes the affectionately self styled "Republic of Hout Bay" one of the most attractive places for those who live in it and those who visit it.
Hout Bay is often called the Heart of the Cape and lies in the middle of the scenic route between Cape Town Centre and Cape Point. The village herewith has a unique and easy access to all beautiful attractions such as The World of Birds (the largest bird park in Africa), Chapman's Peak, Orange Kloof Nature Reserve, the Constantia Wine Route and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
It is a sociable village with people chatting in cafés and an excellent craft market on the green every Sunday.
The busy harbour is the centre for the tuna and crayfishing fleets, with fish and chip restaurants a stone's throw from the water's edge.
The drive from Hout Bay to Table Mountain and the center of Cape Town takes about 15 to 20 minutes and takes you along one of the most awesome ocean routes.
From the landmark beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to the vibrant V&A Waterfront and Cape Town city centre, time spent in Cape Town will not be forgotten.
