Vrede Manor was built around the turn of the century in 1904 and is designed in the traditional Cape Dutch style synominous to South Africa in particular the Western Cape.

The house was originally built for the Mayor of Milnerton and being a dignitary's home it offers superb grace and style.

With two superior en-suite rooms in the main house and one luxury duplex apartment you will be sure of the peace, tranquillity and comfort of a true South African home.

Vrede Manor has been lovingly restored by its current owners, Colin and Mark.

This Edwardian boutique Guest House is situated in its picturesque garden, just 5 klm from Cape Town City Bowl, a place for the discerning traveller to relax and unwind in elegant and peaceful surroundings and plan your stay with us.

To name but a few attractions we are ideally suited to visit Cape Town City Bowl and the Victoria and Alfred waterfront, Table Mountain National Park and Kirstenbosch Gardens with the many walks they have to offer.

Cape Point and Wine Farms in Constantia, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Durbenville Hills and Paarl to name but a few, can also be easily visited.

Milnerton Golf Course - the only true links course in South Africa, Century City Shopping Mall (Canal Walk) and of course Milnerton beach and Light House are also worth to be visited.

Vrede Manor is also a suitable gateway to the Karoo and Garden route plus the West Coast.
