Kurisa Moya Nature Lodge is the perfect place where you can relax in a tranquil setting or go on a guided bird walk, with a professional bird guide, hike, fish, or enjoy massages. Various marked trails lead you through a wide range of habitats on the farm including indigenous forest.

There are 3 stunning venues - 2 Forest Lodge Cabins high up in the canopy of the indigenous forest, the spacious Farmhouse, sleeping 10 and Thora Boloka Cottage, which has magnificent views over the Kudu's River Valley. All venues are fully kitted-out for self catering but catering can be provided by prior arrangement. Kurisa Moya's unique venues are totally private and tranquil. A soul-reviving experience.

Rooms

Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a totally private venue in spectacular surroundings. It has magnificent views out onto the indigenous forest and distant mountains. It has 5 en-suite bedrooms. The huge lounge, dining-room and kitchen (all with fireplaces) make socialising a pleasure and there is also a wonderful patio around the house as well as private gardens and a plunge pool. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and has a large stove with an oven, a fridge and a freezer. There are braai facilities in the garden and a portable braai. All our venues are kitted out for self-catering. They all have fireplaces, braai facilities and firewood provided. We do not have electricity so the lighting is solar, gas and paraffin lanterns. The gas stoves have ovens and there are fridges and freezers. Hot water is via the gas geezers. The venues are serviced daily.

Forest Cabins

The Forest Lodge cabins are on stilts, 3 metres up in the indigenous forest so you have huge trees and nature all around. You can lie in bed and watch Knysna Turacos and Samango Monkeys in the massive trees outside your windos. The cabins are fully self-contained with a kitchenette and bathroom (shower) and a private deck. These 2 cabins are totally private and completely tranquil. All our venues are kitted out for self-catering. They all have fireplaces, braai facilities and firewood provided. We do not have electricity so the lighting is solar, gas and paraffin lanterns. The gas stoves have ovens and there are fridges and freezers. Hot water is via the gas geezers. The venues are serviced daily.

Thora Boloksa Cottage

Thora Boloka Cottage is on the edge of a bushveld - grassland area overlooking the Kudu's River Valley. Thora Boloka is an earthy venue with magnificent views. It has an outdoor (and indoor) shower and hand-made washbasins. There is a large patio around the cottage and it is a totally private venue. It is close to the indigenous forest and all the walks. All our venues are kitted out for self-catering. They all have fireplaces, braai facilities and firewood provided. We do not have electricity so the lighting is solar, gas and paraffin lanterns. The gas stoves have ovens and there are fridges and freezers. Hot water is via the gas geezers. The venues are serviced daily.
