Burgershof is situated in park-like surroundings, offering the feel of the country, hidden in the very heart of Pietermaritzburg.

We offer self-contained, self-catering cottages with the option of Bed & Breakfast. All rooms offer comfy, tasteful accommodation.

We are only 2km from the Pietermaritzburg City Hall in the quiet suburb of Clarendon. Close to the business area, Royal Showgrounds, sporting events, restaurants, private schools and the N3.

The charming Lavender Cottage which is perfect for families is a self-contained cottage that overlooks the tranquil garden. There is a a lounge, full en-suite bathroom, 2 bedrooms, air-conditioner and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a heater for the colder days/nights. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and Bedroom 2 has two single beds.

The Gate House

The quaint Gate House cottage is a self-contained flatlet which has a queen sized bed and full en-suite bathroom. There is a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee tray. The front door leads onto its own private patio and garden.

The Pool House

The Pool House is a self-contained cottage which boasts a lounge/bedroom with a large king sized bed and a single bed neatly tucked away in the kiddies nook. The unit has a full en-suite bathroom, air-conditioner and heater. There is also a kitchen which is fully equipped. The front door opens onto a verandah which overlooks the pool. Many guests choose to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the verandah.
