Enjoy our peaceful, self-catering Honeymoon and Family chalets, in beautiful forest setting between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.

Enjoy privacy & serenity while cycling or hiking through our 85 hectare private indigenous forest.

There are 5 architect designed, rustic chalets where each piece of furniture, chair, table, cupboard, light-fitting, etc. has been hand-made by the local community. The chalets border onto the Garden of Eden and have beautiful views.
Additionally, we have 2 restored, historical cottages which are each set in a beautiful fynbos garden.
Each unit offers an abundance of indigenous plants & trees, along with privacy, tranquility and wonderful vistas.
Especially for those who appreciate this privacy and "time-out", each unit has its own garden,braai, splash pool, and spacious, covered entertainment deck.

Assegaai - 3 bedroom Chalet

2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room with 2 single beds and 2 sleeper couches for children. Each chalet has a private splash pool / BBQ-braai/ garden / spacious covered entertainment deck lovely garden with braai facilities and room for ball games. There is DSTV, daily cleaning service, kid’s playground, and laundry service.

Candlewood - 2 bedroom Chalet

1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a sleeper couch for children. Each chalet has a private splash pool / BBQ-braai/ garden / spacious covered entertainment deck and stunning views overlooking the Garden of Eden. There is DSTV, daily cleaning service, kid’s playground, and laundry service.

Doringhout - 2 bedroom Chalet

Honeymoon Chalet - Erica Chalet

Our romantic Honeymoon Chalet is designed for those wanting a beautiful, private getaway. Erica chalet offers a Queen bedroom with an en-suite, sunken bath for 2 (with 180-degree views of the garden and forest) Lounge with DSTV and sleeper -sofa, plus a huge double shower room and bath-tub overlooking the pool. Fully equipped Kitchenette, spacious covered dining deck with a braai and private plunge pool. The chalet is set in a fairy tale, fynbos- garden with magnificent views sweeping across the forests. Total privacy for a true Garden of Eden experience. Your booking fee includes daily servicing.

Protea & Restio Cottage - 1 bedroom

Our one bedroom cottages are semi-detached, but each has its own garden with a spacious entertainment/dining deck, a braai and a private plunge pool. Each cottage has 1 x double bedroom plus a small lounge with a double sleeper sofa and DSTV. Each cottage has its own kitchen and bathroom. A family can rent the entire cottage and open the interleading door to make this a family unit. (4 guests) Cost includes daily cleaning and use of small kids playground with swings and trampoline.
