About

Madidaba Game Lodge and Wedding Venue is situated near Cullinan in a malaria free area, only 50kms from Pretoria and 90kms from Johannesburg.

On offer are various room configurations, from shared dorm style backpackers to comfortable apartments and guest rooms. Our rooms are beautifully decorated, displaying the wonderful artwork from various African countries.

The lodge offers two large halls ideal for weddings, conferences, and other functions. Other establishment facilities include a bar, guest lounges, coffee bar and dining lounge. Alternatively, guests can make use of the swimming pool and lapa area where there are braai facilities available.

A private lapa with braai and dining facilities are available at a small surcharge.

There are a number of exciting activities to be enjoyed in the area which includes games drives, birdwatching, hiking, 4x4 trails, hot air balloon safaris, fishing and mountain biking. Some activities require your own equipment, or additional fees. Booking in advance required.

Please note that telecommunications in the area are sparse. Email and Whatsapp (data connectivity) works well at the Lodge.

Madidaba also offers Weddings and Celebratory Function facilities.

Standard Rooms

There are 4 Standard Rooms each fitted with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Note: Subject to availability. You may request for two interlinking standard rooms if preferred.

Twin Rooms - The Stables

Sleeps: 2     Extra sleep: 0

The Stables Lodge facility has 8 twin bedrooms. Each room has 2 three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom.

Luxury Room

Sleeps: 2     Extra sleep: 1

Spacious luxury rooms with a Queen sized bed, Lounge, Dining room and en-suite Bathroom. A day-bed provides an option for an extra person, or just to laze for a nice afternoon nap. Beautifully decorated, these rooms gives a luxury feeling in a farm environment that will see you returning again and again.

Backpackers

Sleeps: 25     Extra sleep: 0

This is a backpackers accommodation comprising of bunk beds. Base Bedding provided. The shared bathroom have a shower and are accessed directly from the room. Great if you are a group wanting to share Note: Bedding can be provided extra.

Double Apartment

Sleeps: 4     Extra sleep: 2

This top level apartment has 2 bedrooms, each fitted with a queen-size bed. There is 1 bathroom, lounge area, and a balcony. Daybed or bunk beds can be arranged for 2 small children at an additional charge per night if older than 5. Prior arrangement must be made upon booking.

Single Apartment

This ground floor apartment has 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed. There is a bathroom and an open-plan lounge. Daybed or bunk beds can be arranged for up to 2 small children at an additional charge per night if older than 5. Prior arrangement must be made upon booking.

Student Dorms

Dorm accommodation comprising of bunk beds. Options with or without bedding available. The shared bathrooms have showers and are accessed directly from the room. Further shower and toilet facilities directly outside. Space for washing. Great facility for Groups - school groups, church groups, etc. Ideal for booking with our venue(s) for training and leadership camps Total number of beds: 230

Venue Hire - Hall (Large - 300pax)
