River Crossing is set on 100 acres of land with magnificent, panoramic views of the lush farmlands of the Champagne Valley and the mountains, Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle.

Situated in the Central Drakensberg, which forms part of the World Heritage Site. River Crossing is bounded by both the Mtoti and the Sterkspruit Rivers and local reedbuck and duiker, which are frequently spotted, take their refuge in the surrounding riverine vegetation.

Come and enjoy our breathtaking panorama of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle forming part of the Drakensberg mountain range. River Crossing is an oasis of peace situated on 100 acres of farmland, bordered by the Sterkspruit and Mtoti Rivers where you can enjoy our upper or lower river walks. There is a tar road right up to our farm.

We have 14 stylish and romantic bedrooms, all en-suite, sleeping 28, with stylish, luxurious and romantic décor. There are 4 X 2 bedroom self-cater suites, a self contained 4 bedroomed Villa and 2 x Bed and Breakfast bedrooms in the management Villa. Breakfasts are available and other meals may be provided by arrangement.

Villa Toscana
