Seal Point Lighthouse
About
You can now enjoy a wonderful stay inside this iconic Eastern Cape landmark. Accommodation consists of two wings, east and west, both of which are attached to the lighthouse, which means you’re literally staying in the lighthouse. Both accommodation units are furnished to offer a vintage ambiance, allowing you a peek into days of yore.
Adjacent to the lighthouse you’ll find Nevermind restaurant, where you can treat your taste buds to a beautiful breakfast, lovely lunch or delectable dinner.
The Seal Point Lighthouse was first lit on July 4, 1878. Since then it’s been weathering the tempestuous climate of the Eastern Cape to offer indispensable guidance to ships entering the dangerous waters of Algoa Bay.
