We offer serviced, self-catering accommodation, which includes a light help yourself breakfast in your room.
We are wonderfully situated a short stroll from top coffee shops and restaurants in Newlands Village, should you want a more substantial breakfast.

Sun Cottage is set in a unique lush and tranquil garden where the Newlands Stream meets the historic Liesbeek River. It has been described as a piece of paradise in the centre of Newlands.

Secure, off street parking leads to a private entrance. Walk to top village restaurants, trendy coffee shops, galleries and boutiques, University of Cape Town, Cavendish Square, Newlands Cricket and Rugby, Sports Science Institute and Vineyard Hotel. 10 minutes (10 kms) from town and the Waterfront, 20 minutes (15 kms) from the airport.

The Loft Studio

A spacious, open thatch suite, with fully equipped kitchenette, full en suite bathroom and a balcony over the stream. Enjoy the lush riverine vegetation while relaxing on the balcony, with the stream babbling below. The Loft has a king size bed or two singles. (On request we can add extra bedding for children.) A comfortable leather couch and easy chairs adds to the warm, safari-type ambience. A teak table and chairs offers a great space to work or dine.

The River Room

Decorated in tranquil white and blue, has a light and airy en-suite bathroom (shower only) and a private deck over the stream, where you can relax and enjoy the birds and squirrels abundant in the river trees. It has a double bed, desk, small fridge and microwave.
